About this deal

You're right that Makita makes versions with higher torque or other features, but the color alone doesn't signal any real difference from the teal versions. So I guess they are the lower end of the Makita line, but there's also identical teal ones at the lower end too. Extreme protection technology (XPT) offers maximum protection against dust, debris and liquids for optimal performance in extreme conditions Makita uses the latest technology to design drills that meet the needs of today's consumers. Every Makita drill driver is rigorously tested before reaching the market. Makita is constantly improving their products so you never have to settle for less than the best in the latest power drills. With the Makita line, you know that high quality is their top priority. Improved ergonomic soft rubber grip design for vibration absorption and comfortable operation features re-contoured rear grip portion and ribbed grip for improved hold

Makita is a global brand of professional power tools and accessories, renowned for quality and performance. Whether it's a small and lightweight drill driver or a large, heavy duty and high power hammer drill, you can count on Makita to provide a drill that works.Well balanced, and full of features, this combi drill is incredibly versatile. With 2 mechanical and metal gears, electric brake, and dual-rotation modes, this drill delivers up to 1900rpm no load speed, and up to 28,500bpm. Compact depending on how you look at it as the size and capacity of the battery does nothing to shorten the length.

the noticable power difference was more of an issue with teh 1.5 amp batteries compared to 3.0s amongst several brands.. i use to own a bosch lithium ion brushed impact which i had 1.5 amp batteries... it suffered as well .. and a coworker has a brushed lith ion milwaukee he notices it as well when using his 1.5 amp compared to the 4.0 The DF330 is 10.8/12V cordless tool. This article is talking about 18V Makita tools here in the USA.The soft grip handle allows for comfortable use over extended periods, while the twin LED lights brighten up your work area. The drill is equipped with a battery protection circuit to prevent any damages from over-discharge, overload and high temperatures. The cheaper offerings are cheaper for a reason, Makita are still worth the money IMO, their spares can be cheaper than other makes too. I've only seen the 2 cheapest models made in white, I have them both in green. I have a white drill and it has the exact same model number (except one letter which presumably denotes it’s colour) as the turquoise equivalent. It was exactly the same price too (body only). I seem to remember reading somewhere that if bought as a kit, the white stuff came with smaller batteries as it was supposed to be “compact”. communications working together to deliver unmatched power, speed, and run time. 18V LXT have solutions for every trade, with tools like Bandsaws, rebar cutters and Length is usually the determining factor for compact tools but the compact battery does shorten the tools overall height when used with the compact battery.
